How To Accept That Things Do Fall Into Place in the End

Over the years, we find ourselves at numerous crossroads, trying to make the best decisions for various aspects of our lives. And, if you’re an indecisive and dreamy person like me, you will probably keep pondering on your choices even days or months after they have been made. The constant wondering, the not-knowing what a certain decision might lead to, the rush of adrenaline felt when finally deciding something that might change the course of your path – these are aspects of life that can either make you or break you, depending on how you choose to report to them.

In my journey through life, I have come to believe that things do fall into place in the end, regardless of your choices or struggles. What can still be difficult, though, is to truly accept that and let that thought calm your spirits in the times when things do seem to be chaotic and not what you wished for.

One of the first steps in coming to believe that things fall into place is finding joy in the moment and in the situations you find yourself in. There has to be one new, amazing person you got to meet during that not-so-interesting conference, one new place you got to visit when your car broke down on the road or a new snack you got to taste because it was late and the only place open was that store at the corner of your street. Always keep them in your mind like little gems you found on your path. After all, you are designing your own road to happiness, so why not make sure you’re paving it with rose petals, instead of thorns?
Another important step is trying to stop worrying about every little struggle on your way and start having faith that you will make the right choices and that things you wish for will come true.

Those struggles, too, shall pass, whether you let them darken your days or not, so keeping a positive attitude is much more helpful along the way. Not feeling in control of what is happening can be extremely hard, but you have to believe that you will get though everything you need to in order to arrive at the spot that’s perfect for you. Whether you believe in the forces of destiny, of gods or in your own powers, you have to believe that you will get where you need to be.

Once you are able to do these things and once you go through situations that prove to you that things do fall into place in the end, you might be tented to believe that the next choice you will have to make will be easier for you, because now you have this strong belief and feeling of calmness. So it might be unexpected to find yourself feeling unsecure and worried again. Didn’t you say you have faith that things will settle? Didn’t you go through all these steps, have all the proofs? What you need to do once you accepted that things do fall into place and you find yourself feeling restless again, is take those gems from the bottom of your mind, pick those rose petals from your path and believe in them once again.

Breathe in the smell of flowers, see the sparkles of your dreams and wishes and let them guide you on and on.
