Health Warning Signs That You Shouldn't Ignore
We have been so overwhelmed with all things coronavirus of late, that some of us might have forgotten that there are other things that we can get sick with. Other illnesses and diseases haven’t stopped just because there is a global pandemic going on. So although we need to be paying attention to our health and wellness in terms of COVID (such as looking out for a loss of taste or smell, as well as temperature or a new cough), there are other health signs that we should look out for. When we take action, it will make a big difference, so don’t ignore any signs that something else could be wrong with you.
Dizziness
If you have been experiencing dizziness or lightheadedness, then often these things are caused by disturbances in the body, whether in the brain, the intestinal system, or issues with your eyes or ears. Dizziness is a common symptom and if it is regular and persistent, should be a sign that you should seek some medical advice. If you think your dizziness could be related to balance or something to do with your hearing, then it is worth looking online to learn more and then speaking to an audiologist. However, if you have dizziness and some other symptoms like nausea, then seek medical attention right away. Dizziness can relate to things like diabetes, dehydration, and blood pressure issues too, so if it sticks around, get some help.
Swelling
If you find that you have swelling or inflammation in a certain area of your body, or all over your body, then it can be cause for concern. Often it is due to build-up of fluid, but it could also be an indicator of something like liver problems or prior circulation. It could even indicate a blood clot. So it is best practice to always investigate the cause of any swelling. Anything from swollen ankles to swollen fingers should warrant seeing a doctor.
Tingling in the arms
If you experience a tingling sensation in your hands and arms, and perhaps even in your legs or feet, then it can be a nuisance, but also be an indicator of something that needs attention. Tingling is most related to circulation problems, as well as diseases like anemia, diabetes, and MS. The tingling could also be an indicator of kidney problems. See how long your bouts of tingling last, before seeking medical attention. However, if you have the feeling and it is accompanied by a feeling of nausea or headaches, then it is a must to see medical attention right away.
Tearing sensation
If you are someone that has felt a tearing sensation in your body, then you could have pulled a muscle. If you haven’t been working out or doing something strenuous to lead to this, then it could be something much more sinister. You could have a rupture somewhere in your body, and this could lead to a tearing sensation, as well as lots of pain. If you have this pain and it lasts for a while, alongside things like nausea, then seek medical advice immediately.
