The Best Places To Live In The World

Recently, there was an article on here about great travel ideas for your honeymoon. I’ve decided to follow that up with another travel/life themed piece. We’ve looked at the best places to go on your honeymoon, but what about after that? Once the honeymoon period is over, it’s time for you to think about the rest of your life. Primarily, you’ll need to figure out where you want to live. The country you’re living in might not seem appealing to you anymore. It may not be the ideal place to start a family and grow up. So, feel free to check out some of the best places to live in the world:

South Korea

Much is made of North Korea and the extremely strict regime over there. If we ever hear about Korea on the news, it will be the North. All this negative press can put people off the entire country of Korea. However, don’t let the North dissuade you from moving to the South. South Korea is a favourite amongst people looking to move to far east Asia. It’s well renowned as one of the most forward-thinking countries in the world. There're incredible public transport systems that get you from place to place with ease. The city of Seoul is rife with activity, and there are millions of jobs available for English speakers. There’s free WiFi throughout the streets, much of which is faster than 4G mobile network speeds. People are moving to South Korea because it’s a country that’s looking ahead to the future. The economy is doing well, and it’s a fantastic place to live.

USA

Contrary to popular belief, the USA is one of the best places to live in the world. This is largely down to the sheer size of it. It’s a massive country and has diverse cultures all throughout it. The north is considerably different to the south. However, there are plenty of houses for families to buy, and you can easily make a living. Thanks to Obama, unemployment rates are down, and there are loads of jobs on offer. There is one thing to note; you can’t enter the USA with a criminal record, no matter how minor your offense was. If you have something bad on your record, you’ll need a US waiver to be allowed in. It’s worth knowing this, so you don’t hit a barrier when trying to move there from abroad.

Canada

Hot on the heels of the USA is its northern brother Canada. Many people have been emigrating to Canada because of how good a place it is. It’s notable for having an extremely high standard of living. The people are polite, and there’s a thriving economy. You won’t have to worry about things like inflation or an economic downfall. If that’s not enough to get you packing your bags, then what about the scenery? Canada is known for its stunning nature and picturesque setting. It’s the ideal country to raise a family in. Most Canadians will live long and fruitful lives thanks to the great healthcare service they’ve got going on. There are so many reasons to love Canada; it’s no surprise millions are moving there.

United Kingdom

The UK is fast becoming one of the best places to live in the world. Although the weather isn’t great, this does come with a slight benefit. You’re never at risk of extreme weather conditions like storms or blizzards. It’s a safe place to live, and that’s backed up by its low gun crime rates. Also, people of the UK are given a free health care service in the NHS. This is one of the main reasons people are deciding to move there. Plus, the unemployment rates are low, and there are plenty of jobs available. London, in particular, coughs up thousands of new jobs each year.

Monaco

Regarding luxury living, the Principality of Monaco is the best there is. If you’ve got money to spare, then living in this tiny country is a great idea for you. Amongst other things, it’s well known for having a stunning climate. It’s the perfect place to retire to during your golden years. Also, there are a few tax loopholes for residents of Monaco. It’s known as a tax haven, which can be good for when you earn money. Granted, it’s not for everyone, but I thought I’d throw it in the mix as a wildcard.

Now, there’s a chance that you’re reading this and live in one of these countries, and that’s great. You’re already in a great place, so there’s no need to move!
