Poem: Woman From Salt

I want to find the Woman from Salt,

She looks like me, only brighter,

She tastes like salt, on her skin

From birth,

In her crib, with her invisible tail,

She longs for the infinite blue,

She heard a whale,

A dream, that tastes like salt,

Her mother told her she will come back,

As a star, as the sun, as lightning and thunder,

Her father was scared of all that, and of her,

She fought, she cried out,

In joy,

She fell,

In love with the Woman from Salt,

That brave iridescent blue,

And jumped right in
