Living the Life with Pura Vida Bracelets

For a while now, I have been a fan of bracelets. I like to stack many of them on my wrists for fun and use them to complement the outfits I wear. While surfing the web one day for fun, I came across a website called Pura Vida Bracelets. At first, I thought it would be just like any other bracelet company but I was wrong. Pura Vida Bracelets is the type of bracelet company that everyone needs to know about so that they can buy their unique, one of a kind bracelets.

Pura Vida Bracelets were founded by two Southern Californians named Griffen Thall and Paul Goodman. It all started was when the two friends took a trip to Costa Rica back in the summer of 2010. They encountered two bracelet artists, Jorge and Joaquin, who were living in poverty at the time. After seeing the bracelets they created, Thall and Goodman requested Jorge and Joaquin to create more they can take home. When they returned home to California, they placed the bracelets at a boutique shop. The bracelets were sold out within a few days. Realizing how much meaning both the bracelets and the partnership they have with Jorge and Joaquin from Costa Rica have, Pura Vida Bracelets was born.

The Spanish words “pura vida” means pure life. To Thall, Goodman, Jorge, and Joaquin, each bracelet has a meaning that embraces life. It is a philosophy to treasure life in Costa Rica. This is what Thall and Goodman, the co-founders of Pura Vida Bracelets, are hoping to share.

The Pura Vida Bracelets company helps provide jobs for artisans in Costa Rica and throughout the rest of the world. Not only that, but they also partnered with over 100 of charities worldwide to donate to their causes with each bracelet sold. For example, for each Pura Vida Bracelet called “Save The Dolphins” sold, the money goes to saving and protecting the dolphins in our oceans. Pura Vida Bracelets is not only a company that just sells bracelets, but they also help and donate to many people and charities around the world.

Pura Vida Bracelets also rings, necklaces, bags, and more recently, tribe journals. From silver wave rings, feather necklaces, fun patterns of clutches, and colorful tribe journals, the options are endless. I recommend checking them out after going through and buying the bracelets.

Right now, I own several of the Pura Vida Bracelets and also part of their Pura Vida Rep Program. The bracelets I currently own are “Save the Dolphins,” “LGBTQ Awareness,” “Berry Cute,” “Solid Sage Green,” and “1% for the Planet.” Here is a picture of the bracelets.

As a rep of the Pura Vida Rep program, I advertise Pura Vida Bracelets on my social media accounts. Each rep has their own rep code, which is their first and last name all capitalize plus the number 20. When using one’s rep code, people can get 20% off of their purchases while the rep earns money based on how many people used their rep code for their purchases. It is a win-win situation right there. In order to be a rep, you have to be 18 years or older and be active in your community, extracurricular activities, and on Facebook and Instagram. The form is available on their website for anyone who would love to advertise for Pura Vida Bracelets and their products, and meet the requirements to be a rep.

As a customer and a rep of Pura Vida Bracelets, I enjoy wearing their bracelets. Not because of how they look and go with any outfit, but also because it is also for a good cause. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is a huge fan of bracelets. With so many different designs and colors of each bracelet, you would find one that garners your interest the most. Or perhaps you may find a bracelet that relates to a cause you want to help with. To look at all of their bracelets and the rest of their bracelets, go to https://www.puravidabracelets.com and follow their Facebook and Instagram pages. As I would say every time I wear my Pura Vida Bracelets, keep living a pure life everyone!
