So...you're moving!

So...you're moving!

Hey Girl Zone! Katyana here from This Is Girl Talk!

This article was pretty easy to write because of my experience with moving all the time! I hope it helps all of you going through the same thing!

So your parents just brought the whole family into the living room for a “talk”, and told you, you would be moving to a new place, with new people, a new school, and all new stuff? You, just like me, just wanted to run off to your room and cry, and hope it all just goes away.

I know it probably doesn’t feel like it, but everything will be okay, as long as you and your family stick together. Thank goodness for Facebook, Twitter, texting, and Skype right!?

First off, leaving:

Leaving is probably one of the hardest parts of the move! But there are ways to help ease the pain a little. I know nothing can completely change it or make it better, but these things will help a little.

  1. Choose a day every week, and create a google hangout on that day. You and your friends can all video chat while playing games, watching videos, and so much more!

  2. Create a group on Facebook just for you and your friends! You can share pics, chat, and keep up to date with everyone that way!

  3. Old fashioned phone calls are always fun

  4. You can always try snail mail!

These ideas are not only good for leaving, but also the whole time you live in this new place.

Getting there:

Getting there is when the breakdowns start, everyone is stressed out, you have to find a new church, new school, new house, new friends... It can be so depressing! My advice, is to completely be yourself! That is the one and only way to make amazing friends! TRUST ME!!!
