A Youtuber Nation
We are overcome by them. They are mentioned everywhere - television programs, radio shows, books, and more! I think Youtube is a really good way to explain your thoughts. There is a multidunious amount of videos on any given topic, which allows us to hear different opinions on various matters. Here are my two favorite YouTubers:
Zoella: She is my absolute favourite YouTuber ever! She has more than 7 million subscribers. She does makeup and hair tutorials, as well as beauty challenges with her other YouTuber friends. Most importantly, she has a couple videos about her story battling anxiety and her advice on how to cope. She really helped me with my own anxiety! With her advice, I have become more confident. Her book, Girl Online was released on 25 November 2014 and I am waiting to translate it into my language.
Bethany Mota: She is only 19, yet she has more than 8 million subscribers! She makes videos about hair, makeup, fashion, and DIY projects. She is definitely the princess of Youtube. Now she has a clothing line with Aeropostale! She was announced as a competitor on Dancing with the Stars for Season 19 and I think she is definitely someone to keep our eye on.
These are my favorites; however, to me, the important thing is to use the internet in order to give back to the community. There are a lot of YouTubers supporting charities and making inspiritional videos. It's so amazing to see people helping each other. Youtube is still growing, and I hope users will continue to benefit the community through their videos.
Zeliha Pelin Basak is a 17 year old that lives in İstanbul, Turkey. Her major is accounting and finance. She love reading books and listen to music, but her favourite thing is writing, especially writing essays. Every time she tries new things to write and is trying to stay creative. Pelin has an interest to languages and wants to learn Italian, Spanish and French. In one period of Pelin's life she became more open-minded and more thankful for her life. After this situation, she couldn't stop writing. In college, Pelin wants English Language and Literature as a major because she loves reading novels, poems and analyse them. Also she has an interest in English history.
