Lisa Vetrone: A New Singer with a Retro Style

22 year-old '60s and '70s inspired blues/rock singer-songwriter Lisa Vetrone releases her self- titled EP on March 1st, 2016. The five-song album, recorded at Sabella Studios in Roslyn, NY, features original songs "Heavy Love," "1969," "Wanderlust," and two acoustic bonus tracks, "Ain't No Fool," and "Johnnie Walker." Lisa Vetrone will be streaming free, and is available for download, on internet music platform Bandcamp at www.lisavetrone.bandcamp.com.

Lisa, a Glen Cove native, was a finalist on the televised MSG Varsity Talent show in 2012; in 2014, she was selected from thousands as a competitor on the Goldcoast Arts Center's Your  Big Break Showcase. She joined Just Sixties, the longest-running sixties tribute band in the United States, in 2015, and was one of eighteen nominees for Best Singer in the 2016 Best of Long Island Series.

An artist whose music is a genuine "throwback," Lisa's highly awaited debut EP showcases her unique sound, a mix of traditional blues and retro soul that has drawn comparisons to  artists ranging from Janis Joplin and Dusty Springfield to Edie Brickell and Norah Jones.
