Yummies: Ayurvedic Calming Tea

For centuries, Ayurveda tea has said to boost overall health. The mixing of these herbs and spices are said to heal the disorder of the mind and body and restore wholeness and harmony.
~ 1 vanilla bean \ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
~ 1-2 cinnamon quills
~ I slice of peeled ginger
~ 1~2 star anise
Put cinnamon quills, peeled ginger and star anise in a mortar bowl and pound them together.
Next pour boiling water over the ingredients and add the vanilla bean or extract into the boiling water.
Let this brew for about 10-15 minutes.
- Serve with lemon or honey based on preferences.
