How to Utilize Your Greek Yogurt

Greek yogurt is the most essential staple in a home, but it is often overlooked in most cases. It is best known for aiding in digestion, improving complexion and is a great source of vitamin B-12. Here are two, quick and simple recipes to utilize your Greek yogurt.

 

Recipe 1

Ingredients

Greek yogurt

Tomatoes or cherry tomatoes

1 Cucumber (diced)

Olive oil or Flax seed oil

Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Directions

Combine all ingredients for a delicious treat!

 

Recipe 2

Ingredients

Greek yogurt

Sliced bocconcini

Basil leaved (chopped)

Olive oil or Flax seed oil

Salt & Pepper (to taste)

Recipe 3

Greek yogurt

Avocado (diced)

Lettuce (chopped)

Cilantro

1 green chili

2-3 table spoons of lemon juice

Directions

  1. Beat the Greek yogurt, olive oil \ flaxseed oil and salt and pepper in a bowl.

  2. Finally add all the chopped and diced ingredients to the mixture and mix well.

Serve with poached chicken or egg, ciabatta bread or even simply eat it with carrot sticks. What’s great about these recipes is that you can always make them and store it, so it can be used again. Either way, a meal with Greek yogurt is guaranteed to never go wrong.
